Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for designing and creating precise tooling used in the manufacturing process. The role demands proficiency in CAD software and a thorough understanding of machining processes to ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate tools and dies for various manufacturing processes.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports detailing design processes.
• Test and evaluate tooling for effectiveness and durability.
• Support production teams by providing tooling expertise.
• Address any tooling issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to throughout the design process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in die design or manufacturing.

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• CNC Programming

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Tooling Engineer
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with plastic injection molding design: Understanding of designing molds for plastic applications.
