Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to prevent the entry of contraband and illegal persons.
• Engage in surveillance activities and respond to potential security threats.
• Interview travelers to gather information and verify compliance with laws.
• Coordinate with law enforcement to address and investigate criminal activities.
• Process and inspect travel documents in accordance with federal laws.
• Employ advanced technology for screening and monitoring at points of entry.
• Maintain detailed reports and documentation of border activities.
• Attend training to enhance skills and knowledge related to border protection.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CBP Border Patrol training are advantageous.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in border protection or customs enforcement
