Job Description

Join our team as a Defense Attorney, where you will be responsible for defending clients charged with various criminal offenses. Your expertise in criminal law and strong communication skills will be essential for effectively representing clients and achieving favorable resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for clients in criminal trials, focusing on their defense strategies.
  • Conduct depositions and witness interviews to gather relevant information.
  • Research and analyze legal precedents to support case arguments.
  • Prepare and file necessary legal paperwork accompanied by required deadlines.
  • Actively participate in pre-trial motions and hearings.
  • Develop relationships with clients, keeping them informed on case progress.
  • Monitor case developments and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Attend court hearings and actively engage in negotiations with prosecutors.
  • Ensure clients’ interests are protected through diligent representation.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to foster public trust.

Requirements

Education
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Experience
  • 5 years or more in criminal defense
