Honing Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Honing Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining honing machines, ensuring the production of precision components per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up honing machines, including fixtures and tooling adjustments.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts for defects.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs to minimize production delays.
• Execute preventive maintenance on honing machines regularly.
• Maintain logs of production yields and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with quality control for audits and inspections.
• Train and mentor new staff on honing procedures and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Additional technical certifications in machining are beneficial

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
