Construction and Building Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction and Building Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction practices and enforce safety standards.
• Help develop and implement inspection protocols.
• Coordinate inspections with local regulatory bodies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and compliance.
• Advise on improving construction practices for safety and efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance when necessary.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights on compliance.
• Train junior inspectors and support staff on best practices.
• Monitor ongoing construction projects for adherence to schedules.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in construction inspection or project management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Safety Regulations Knowledge

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
