Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Roof Tile Layer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installing, repairing, and replacing roof tiles on various properties. Physical strength, attention to detail, and compliance with safety regulations are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to establish installation criteria.
• Professionally clean and prepare surfaces to ensure tiles adhere correctly.
• Utilize hand and power tools to cut and position tiles accurately.
• Regularly check the alignment and fastening of tiles to prevent future issues.
• Address and repair any damage to tiles promptly to maintain quality.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations on-site.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Document and report on project status to management.
• Attend safety meetings and workshops to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in roof tile installation and repairs

• Roofing Techniques
• Material Estimation

Certifications

• OSHA Certification
• Certification in Roof Tile Installation (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
