Job Description

Join our team as a Skein Yard Drier, where you will ensure the effective drying of yarn skeins, maintaining quality and moisture levels to achieve perfection in our textile products.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate skein drying machinery effectively.
• Ensure that drying conditions meet operational standards for moisture and quality.
• Maintain detailed logs of running conditions and quality checks.
• Conduct routine maintenance on drying machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area at all times.
• Work collaboratively within the production team to enhance process efficiency.
• Provide feedback on equipment functionality and process improvements.
• Help assess and implement new drying technologies as they become available.
• Assist in other production activities as required.
• Participate in quality audits and respond to corrective action requests.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in textile manufacturing is a plus

• Drying equipment operation

Advantageous

• Previous maintenance experience: Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance.
