Job Description

The Pipe Inspector is vital to our quality assurance team, focusing on inspecting and assessing pipes across various sectors. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in close collaboration with teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Document and report findings from inspections to the quality control manager.
  • Develop a systematic approach to inspect new and existing piping systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant safety regulations and standards pertinent to inspections.
  • Participate in quality assurance meetings and contribute insights on improvements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of inspection processes and suggest enhancements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of inspection protocols.
  • Train new staff on inspection techniques and company standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in pipe inspection or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in pipe inspection or similar field
Technical Skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Basic computer skills
Soft Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Adaptability
Certifications
  • ASNT Level I Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
