Job Description

As a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (Bilingual SLP), you will be an integral part of our therapy team, responsible for assessing and treating individuals with communication disorders. The ideal candidate should have expertise in bilingual therapy, possess excellent communication skills, and be passionate about improving patients' lives through effective intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the nature and extent of communication disorders.
  • Create tailored intervention plans in cooperation with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for diverse populations.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust approaches as necessary.
  • Advocate for client needs within various educational and healthcare settings.
  • Utilize technology and therapy software effectively to enhance treatment delivery.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of speech-language services.
  • Assist in training and supervising therapy interns or assistants.
  • Participate actively in staff development workshops and seminars.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages client engagement and progress.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or equivalent certification
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in bilingual speech-language pathology preferred.
