Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setter to operate edging machines in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure efficiency and quality in producing finished products, while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for operation by setting gauges and calibrating equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production goals and challenges.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process and address any discrepancies.
• Initiate machine repairs and report any significant issues to maintenance staff.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training or certification in machine operation is preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in operating crushing, grinding, or polishing machines.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Strong manual dexterity

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong troubleshooting skills: Experience in diagnosing machine issues and performing necessary repairs.
