Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Creative Arts Music Therapist to utilize innovative music therapy strategies to improve clients' quality of life. In this role, you will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities

• Assess and create personal music therapy treatment plans for clients based on individual strengths and challenges.
• Facilitate both individual and group sessions that promote healing through music, fostering personal expression.
• Utilize diverse instruments and resources to achieve therapeutic outcomes and meet clients' needs.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to optimize therapeutic strategies and discuss client progress.
• Document and track clients' therapeutic journeys through accurate record-keeping.
• Stay abreast of new methodologies in the field of music therapy, adapting practices as necessary.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to collaborative treatment planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or Creative Arts Therapy
• Master's degree in Music Therapy is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working as a music therapist or in a related field
