Job Description

As a Tallow Refiner, you will operate and maintain refining equipment, ensuring that processes meet product quality specifications. Your role will involve managing inventory and supervising junior staff while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire refining operation from start to finish.
• Implement and monitor quality standards for each batch of refined product.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to production processes.
• Promote and ensure a safety-first culture among team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in refining or a related field

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies: Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
• Quality control experience: Experience with quality assurance processes and documentation.
