Safety Trainer

Job Description

Join us as a Safety Trainer where you will develop comprehensive safety programs and materials. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance our safety training initiatives and make a significant impact on employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct training workshops focused on workplace safety compliance.
• Produce multimedia training content and develop online safety courses.
• Assess the training needs of different departments and tailor programs accordingly.
• Lead safety drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
• Investigate safety incidents and provide reports with actionable recommendations.
• Engage employees in discussions about safety improvements and hazard identification.
• Ensure that training materials reflect the latest OSHA and ANSI standards.
• Collaborate with HR to integrate safety training into onboarding processes.
• Facilitate meetings with management to discuss safety performance and initiatives.
• Develop a culture of safety through ongoing training and communication.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.

Advantageous
