Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Consult with families regarding medical evaluations and provide emotional support.
  • Engage in quality improvement measures for surgical practices.
  • Work closely with other healthcare providers to address any patient complications.
  • Attend and participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Implement strategies for improving the surgical experience for pediatric patients.
  • Advocate for children's health issues within the community and healthcare system.
  • Collaborate on research projects aimed at advancing pediatric surgical techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery is preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Pediatric Surgery, with a demonstrated history of successful outcomes.
