Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Horse Doctor to join our dedicated veterinary team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing the health of horses. Your expertise in equine medicine is crucial to our mission of providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and preventative care.
  • Provide emergency and critical care for injured or ill horses.
  • Administer anesthesia and perform surgical interventions when necessary.
  • Consult with horse owners and trainers to develop care plans.
  • Educate horse owners on best practices in equine health management.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to make informed decisions.
  • Liaise with veterinary technicians for effective team operations.
  • Review and update treatment protocols regularly based on latest research.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational events about horse care.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited veterinary school
Experience
  • 3-5 years of practice, ideally in equine medicine.
