Prepress Technicians and Workers

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Prepress Technicians and Workers to join our construction team. This role involves the assembly of formwork for concrete structures, ensuring quality and accuracy in all tasks. A successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Install and monitor the stability of formwork.
• Identify material needs and assist in inventory management.
• Assist with pouring and finishing concrete as required.
• Train new employees on formwork procedures and safety.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled formwork before concrete is poured.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with concrete systems preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in formwork

Technical Skills

• Concrete finishing
• Measurement skills

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Advanced Formwork Techniques Certification
• Forklift Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of safety practices: Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Project management exposure: Previous experience in assisting project managers to coordinate tasks.
