Lab Instructor

Job Description

As a Lab Instructor, you'll oversee school laboratory activities, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in a safe and supportive environment. Your role will include preparing labs, assisting students in experiments, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise students and researchers on lab equipment usage.
• Collaborate with faculty members to design and implement interdisciplinary lab experiences.
• Assist with data collection, statistical analysis, and report writing.
• Provide guidance on scientific research methods and best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities related to laboratory training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Experience teaching and/or tutoring students is a plus

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of lab safety protocols
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Languages

• English: Fluent
