Motor Vehicle Operator (Assembly Line Driver)

Job Description

As an Assembly Line Driver, you will play a crucial role in our production team by operating vehicles and transporting materials between various stages of the assembly process. Your responsibility will include ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and tracking material usage.
• Work collaboratively with QA/QC, Logistics, and Engineering departments.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track vehicle routes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Participate in safety drills and training as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree in Logistics or related field is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience as an assembly line driver or in a similar role preferred.

• Material handling

Certifications

• Forklift Certification
• Safety Compliance Certification, preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of automotive industry processes: Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards is a plus.
• CDL (Commercial Driver's License): Having a valid CDL is advantageous for certain vehicle operations.
