Responsibilities

• Review and interpret optical prescriptions.
• Use measuring tools to capture essential customer data.
• Choose suitable lens types based on customer needs.
• Fabricate and finish lenses with precision equipment.
• Fit and adjust completed eyeglasses prior to customer delivery.
• Conduct repairs and troubleshoot lens issues.
• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations in daily operations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of eyeglass orders.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service.
• Keep abreast of new eyewear trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Optician certification is highly desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in optical lab work.

Technical Skills

• Precision tool usage
