Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor in our agricultural team, you'll oversee daily operations across various farming and fishing activities. You'll manage a dedicated crew, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and drive strategies for maximum efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of various farming and fishing projects.
  • Develop training programs for workers to enhance skills and safety.
  • Analyze productivity reports and adjust workflows accordingly.
  • Ensure all environmental regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to promote collaboration.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews of supervisors and crew members.
  • Maintain equipment and schedule repairs as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Lead safety meetings and drills to ensure a culture of safety.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources or Environmental Science is a plus

  • 5 years of experience in agriculture or forestry management
