Job Description

As the Safety and Training Manager, you will lead the development and execution of safety programs and training initiatives. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and enhance workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of safety training initiatives leveraging best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Collaborate with department managers on safety compliance strategies.
  • Deliver training programs tailored to specific departmental needs.
  • Track and report on safety performance metrics to management.
  • Ensure all safety documentation is up-to-date and adhered to.
  • Provide support during safety inspections by external agencies.
  • Identify, procure, and maintain necessary training resources.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness through continuous engagement.
  • Develop and refine safety-related communication material.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Safety Management or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in safety training and program management
