Job Description

The School Superintendent is responsible for the overall administration and management of the school district. This role includes overseeing curriculum development, staff recruitment and training, budgeting, and community outreach to create an inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee district policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the School Board to establish educational priorities.
• Advocate for the needs of students and staff within the local, state, and federal educational frameworks.
• Foster a positive and productive school culture and climate.
• Utilize data to inform decisions and track the district’s progress towards its goals.
• Work with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of educational initiatives.
• Address disciplinary issues and maintain a safe environment for all students.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership
• Doctorate in Education preferred

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in education, with at least 5 years in administrative roles

Certifications

• Board Certification in Education Leadership
• State Administrator's Certificate

Languages
