Structural Iron and Steel Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Iron and Steel Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing metal structures for various construction projects including bridges, tunnels, and high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of metalworking techniques and a passion for quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications.
• Perform on-site installations of steel and iron components.
• Monitor the progress of installation projects for accuracy.
• Use various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist in the development of methods to improve work processes.
• Participate in safety training sessions and drills.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Document work completed and any problems encountered.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• OSHA safety certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the field or related area.

Certifications

• OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification

Languages
