Job Description

As a Transplant Coordinator, you will manage the entire clinical transplant process for patients requiring organ transplants. Your role will involve close collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and successful transplant outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement patient education materials about the transplant process.
  • Assist in clinical research activities related to transplantation.
  • Collaborate with transplant social workers and other support staff to provide holistic care.
  • Track and report transplant outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training in transplant coordination.
  • Advocate for patients' needs through effective communication with healthcare teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Science, or related field
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in transplant coordination
