Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team in Austin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, from initial brainstorming sessions through to execution and post-event evaluations. An understanding of vendor negotiations and budget management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative brainstorming sessions to develop unique event concepts.
• Track project progress and adjust as necessary to keep timelines on schedule.
• Prepare detailed event proposals for clients and present them confidently.
• Assist in recruiting and training event staff as needed.
• Utilize event management software to streamline planning processes.
• Foster a positive and enthusiastic work environment within the planning team.
• Explore new venues and service options that align with client expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Communications
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning
