Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cartographer and Photogrammetrist to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data acquisition, processing, and analysis of geospatial information to create accurate maps and models. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, including LIDAR, to contribute to various projects ranging from urban planning to environmental assessments.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform aerial surveys, including LIDAR and photogrammetric imagery acquisition.
• Process and analyze spatial data to create accurate and visually compelling maps.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mapping solutions into broader project goals.
• Develop methodologies for improving data collection processes and mapping accuracy.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to GIS and mapping tools.
• Stay updated on advances in geospatial technologies and recommend potential applications.
• Document procedures and workflows for continuous improvement in map production.
• Engage with clients to understand their mapping needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cartography, Geography, or Environmental Science
• Master's degree in Geospatial Sciences preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with LIDAR and GIS applications

Technical Skills

• Remote Sensing
• Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau)

Soft Skills

Certifications

• UAV Pilot License (if necessary for aerial surveys)
• Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP)

Languages
