Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Materials Testing Technician to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will conduct a variety of tests on materials to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive tests on various materials and report on their properties and performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve product quality through effective testing strategies.
• Document and maintain precise records of all testing procedures and outcomes.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in materials testing or quality assurance roles.

Technical Skills

• Data analysis and report preparation
• Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Quality Technician (CQT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment: Exposure to industry standards and practices.
• Previous experience using LIMS: Hands-on knowledge of managing lab data efficiently.
