Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with physical disabilities and rehabilitation needs, implementing tailored treatment plans to facilitate recovery and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' rehabilitation needs.
• Design and oversee treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique situation.
• Provide hands-on patient care and support throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure holistic care approaches.
• Advise on adaptive strategies and assistive devices to improve mobility.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with rehabilitation practices.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages patient engagement in their rehabilitation.
• Document treatment outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and train junior physicians and medical students.
• Contribute to research initiatives within the field of rehabilitation medicine.

Requirements

Education

• MD/DO with a focus on rehabilitation
• Fellowship in rehabilitation medicine is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
