Job Description

As a Mold Mechanic, you will be pivotal in maintaining and repairing molds used in various manufacturing processes. Your technical skills in troubleshooting and your attention to detail will ensure high productivity and efficiency within the production line.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds as needed.
  • Repair and replace mold components, such as pins, bushings, and ejector systems.
  • Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records of mold history and performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
  • Work with engineering teams to optimize mold design.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification in a related field (preferred)
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mold maintenance and repair, specifically with injection molds
Technical Skills
  • Injection molding machine experience
  • Proficient with CAD software
Soft Skills
  • Analytical thinking

Certifications
  • Certified Mold Technician
Languages
  • English: Fluent
