Job Description

As a Benzene Washer, you will operate and maintain benzene washing equipment to remove impurities from chemical compounds. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the washers while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the benzene purification process through effective operation of the washing equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
• Collect and analyze samples for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment status and performance metrics.
• Assist in the establishment of operational improvements and updates.
• Collaborate with the team to address any safety concerns that may arise.
• Foster a culture of innovation and safety within the department.
• Ensure all actions align with the company's goals for quality and safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a petrochemical or chemical manufacturing environment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of chemical processes
• Operating industrial washing equipment

Soft Skills

• Effective teamwork
• Problem-solving capabilities

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with data analysis and reporting: Experience in compiling and analyzing operational data.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques: Understanding of lab procedures for chemical analysis.
