Mixing Plant Operator

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Mixing Plant Operator responsible for operating and maintaining our mixing plant equipment to ensure the production of high-quality concrete mixtures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the field, showcasing excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that concrete mixtures are prepared according to detailed specifications.
• Assist in the loading of raw materials and maintain accurate inventory logs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and discuss with management.
• Ensure optimal functioning of all equipment through regular maintenance checks.
• Adhere to environmental regulations concerning waste disposal and emissions.
• Help develop and implement safe work procedures for the mixing plant.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training or certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years in a relevant production role, preferably in concrete manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Concrete Quality Control

Advantageous

• Prior supervisory experience: Experience in a leadership role is considered a plus.
