Job Description

As a Disc-Pad Grinder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machines that shape and finish brake disc pads. Your attention to detail will ensure that quality standards are met while keeping equipment in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines to shape and finish brake pads.
• Ensure machines are set up correctly and functioning optimally.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain detailed logs of machine operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold production standards.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operations.
• Participate in safety audits and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to prevent defects.
• Stay current with new technologies and grinding techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Technical degree or vocational training in manufacturing

Experience

• Previous experience with automated grinding systems is preferred.
