Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our glass manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality glass products, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain glass forming equipment such as furnaces, blowpipes, molds, and annealing ovens.
• Assist in the preparation and handling of raw materials.
• Collaborate with glass forming team members to meet production targets.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize injury risks.
• Perform maintenance and checks on glass forming machinery.
• Maintain production reports and inventory logs.
• Ensure that glass products comply with quality standards.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work in coordination with other departments to streamline production processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in glass forming

Technical Skills

• Glass forming tools
• Reading technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of safety regulations: Awareness of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
