Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement art therapy sessions for oncology patients.
  • Assess patients' emotional and psychological needs through art therapy techniques.
  • Facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions.
  • Guide patients in exploring emotions and promoting self-expression through art.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Stay updated with current research and advancements in art therapy.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Therapy or related field
  • Master's degree in Art Therapy is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in art therapy or a related field
