Job Description

The Construction Job Cost Estimator plays a pivotal role in our construction team, accurately estimating costs associated with various projects. This position requires strong analytical skills to review project plans and specifications while collaborating with project managers.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
• Conduct necessary research on materials and labor costs.
• Prepare detailed reports on cost estimations.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure all project needs are met.
• Participate in negotiations with subcontractors.
• Keep a detailed log of all changes in project scope and their cost implications.
• Assist in developing strategic planning for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the field of construction estimating

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational
