Job Description

As a Pile Driver Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of pile driving equipment. This role involves installing and driving various types of piles for construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and install various types of piles such as steel, concrete, and wooden for different construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers for job specifications and objectives.
  • Ensure high-quality standards and safety regulations are followed during operations.
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
  • Assist with training new employees on equipment operation.
  • Document all daily activities and performance metrics.
  • Participate in team meetings to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide onsite support when necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Post-secondary training in construction or related field is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in marine construction or installation in rocky terrains is a plus.
