Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Faith Doctor to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families, integrating faith-based practices into healthcare plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver presentations on the role of faith in health.
• Evaluate and improve spiritual care services based on patient feedback.
• Provide training and guidance to new team members on spiritual care principles.
• Engage in personal and professional development through continued education.
• Foster an inclusive environment where all spiritual beliefs are respected.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Theology, Divinity, or related field
• Ordination from a recognized denomination is required

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in spiritual counseling or pastoral care

Certifications

• Certification in Spiritual Care

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with mental health support: Knowledge of mental health issues and how faith can play a role in recovery.
• Experience with addiction recovery: Experience supporting patients struggling with addiction issues.
