Job Description

As a Wildlife Conservationist, you will play a vital role in safeguarding wildlife and their habitats. Your responsibilities will include conducting essential research, implementing conservation programs, and raising public awareness about wildlife protection efforts. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to effectively promote sustainable practices and advocate for important conservation policies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and compile reports on endangered and threatened species.
  • Participate in community education and outreach programs.
  • Develop partnerships with local organizations to further conservation goals.
  • Assist in habitat restoration and management projects.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess conservation impact.
  • Prepare grant proposals to secure funding for wildlife projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Wildlife Management is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in wildlife conservation or similar field

  • Camera traps and wildlife tracking technologies

Certifications
