Job Description

As a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals battling alcohol addiction. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling to help clients achieve long-term recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client needs and create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in both group settings and one-on-one sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of treatment progress and outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing client support and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
  • Organize and facilitate family support groups to enhance recovery efforts.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' mental health or substance use conditions.
  • Participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
Experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a social work or counseling role
