Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll be at the forefront of medical imaging, operating PET scanners for diagnostic purposes. You'll ensure high-quality imaging while providing compassionate care to patients, adhering to safety protocols and technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy before they are sent to physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to help them understand procedures.
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Contribute to research and development projects related to nuclear medicine techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Additional certifications in nuclear medicine technology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a PET Technologist or similar role.
