Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks such as patient intake and data entry.
• Provide education to patients about procedures and health practices.

• Monitor and report any changes in patients’ health to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Assist with the scheduling of appointments and follow-up care.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in healthcare or related field is a plus

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare role

Technical Skills

• Blood collection skills
• Record keeping

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Basic knowledge of blood typing and cross-matching: Understanding of basic immunohematology principles.
• Experience in a blood bank environment: Hands-on experience in a blood collection or donation setting.
