Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Woodworking Machine Setter to join our dynamic team. Your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain advanced woodworking machinery, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Setup, calibrate, and test woodworking machines prior to production shifts.
• Analyze production processes for improvement opportunities.
• Handle material inputs and outputs effectively to maximize production.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production logs and machine records.
• Assist in the maintenance of the workshop area.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance machine operations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Monitor machinery for any malfunctions and report immediately.
• Actively partake in continuous education about new machinery and technology.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate Degree in Manufacturing Technology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in woodworking or manufacturing environments

Technical Skills

• CNC Programming
• Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong understanding of CAD software: Experience with CAD software for design and layout of woodworking projects.
• Knowledge of woodworking design trends: Awareness of contemporary trends in woodworking design and manufacturing.
