Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Pilot

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated UAV Pilot to operate drones for the collection and analysis of aerial data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of UAV technology, aeronautical principles, and programming skills to facilitate efficient flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed pre-flight inspections, including battery checks and calibration of UAV systems.
• Execute aerial data acquisition operations while adhering to FAA regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other UAV pilots and project stakeholders to optimize flight plans and data sharing.
• Conduct inspections, mapping, and surveillance tasks utilizing UAV technology.
• Document all flight operations, maintaining accurate records of data collected and equipment performance.
• Address any technical issues encountered during operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement regarding UAV operation techniques and industry practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Aviation, Engineering, Geospatial Sciences)
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with UAVs in various conditions
