We are looking for forging machine setters, operators, and tenders who can proficiently set up and maintain dies to produce metal and plastic components. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate forging machinery to produce high-quality products.
Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues as they arise.
Document production metrics and report on any discrepancies.
Train and mentor new employees in die setting and operational procedures.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical or vocational training in manufacturing preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years in a machining or forging environment
Technical Skills
Experience with CNC machines
Ability to read technical drawings

Flexibility and adaptability
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience with different types of dies (e.g., progressive, transfer): Hands-on experience with various die casting techniques.
Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies: Understanding of quality control methodologies to minimize defects.
