Job Description

As a Shake Sawyer, you will play a pivotal role in our production team, where your primary responsibility will be to cut, shape, and smooth wooden shakes for roofing. You'll be working closely with construction crews to provide high-quality materials that enhance the aesthetics and durability of roofing projects. Attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to operate various woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform the cutting and shaping of wooden shakes seamlessly.
• Ensure all products meet aesthetic and functional qualities.
• Work in tandem with colleagues to meet production quotas.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
• Document production processes and report any issues.
• Assist in inventory management of raw materials.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in woodworking or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Woodworking tools proficiency

Languages

• English: Fluent
