Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Elevator and Escalator Installer and Repairer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to safety are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation of elevators, escalators, and other related systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with elevator and escalator systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients about service needs and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and codes.
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment for job efficiency.
- Work both independently and as part of a team on projects.
- Train and mentor junior installers and repairers as required.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or relevant certifications preferable
Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in the field of elevator services
