Job Description

As a Material Moving Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting dredging and barge operations from the shore. This position requires physical strength, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety protocols. Your contributions will help ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality results in our marine construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Help set up and maintain dredging and barge equipment.
  • Assist with rigging and mooring during operations.
  • Conduct general labor tasks, including work area upkeep.
  • Ensure compliance with safety checks and regulations.
  • Provide support to the crew for various operational tasks.
  • Utilize small tools and machinery when needed.
  • Document job activities accurately for record-keeping.
  • Adhere to environmental guidelines during operations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading tasks as required.
  • Attend safety and training meetings regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in marine construction or related fields is a plus
