Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Copy Lathe Tender to oversee and manage the operation of copy lathes in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the production of high-quality wood products while maintaining safety protocols and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate copy lathes efficiently to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation.
• Assist in the development of new processes for efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training or apprenticeship in woodworking or machining is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in the woodworking industry

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operation
• Problem-Solving

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Safety Awareness

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Planers and Saws: Hands-on experience with other woodworking equipment, such as planers and saws, is a plus.
