As a Labor Union Business Representative, you will play a vital role in advocating for workers within the union. Your responsibilities will include negotiating collective bargaining agreements, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. You'll collaborate closely with union members and leadership to support their needs and rights.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate negotiations for fair labor contracts.
• Address and resolve member grievances promptly.
• Engage in community outreach to recruit new members.
• Educate members on their rights and benefits.
• Prepare documentation for union meetings and negotiations.
• Assist members in navigating employment disputes.
• Work with management to ensure fair practices are upheld.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Labor Studies or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in labor relations or a related field
