We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for our employees, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities

• Calculate employee wages, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of changes in federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Process payroll corrections and adjustments as needed.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the payroll department.
• Collaborate with finance teams for fiscal reporting and compliance.
• Assist new employees in understanding payroll procedures and policies.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of payroll information.
• Train staff on payroll procedures and software usage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• HRIS Software

Certifications

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
